Why will someone reach out to schedule a call after I submit the Inquiry Form on the website?

This introductory call allows us to learn more about your event, discuss your vision, and guide you through the Greenwich Tent process. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about our services, tent rentals, or logistics. Our goal is to ensure you have all the information needed to make the planning process smooth and stress-free.

Is it necessary to do a site visit?

A site visit is essential for a tented event to ensure a seamless setup and avoid unexpected challenges. It allows our team to assess the terrain, measure the space, check for obstacles like trees or uneven ground, and determine accessibility for installation. Additionally, factors like drainage, power sources, and lighting needs can be evaluated in advance. Whether at a venue or private home, a site visit ensures the tent fits perfectly, enhances the event’s flow, and creates a flawless experience for you and your guests.

Why are event details important to create an initial quote?

Providing key event details—such as location, date, guest count, and tent style—when requesting an initial quote is essential for accurate pricing and seamless planning. These factors determine the appropriate tent size, necessary permits, setup logistics, and availability.

What is your rain plan approach?

Our rain plan policy requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the necessary equipment for your event. A final decision on rain plan items must be made 1–2 days prior to installation, depending on your specific production schedule with GTC. To ensure seamless execution, no rain plan equipment will leave our warehouse without full payment. This guarantees that everything is ready when you need it most.

What is the difference between a vinyl sailcloth/pole tent and a Sperry Sailcloth Tent?

A basic vinyl pole tent is made from opaque, synthetic material with visible seams, offering a functional but industrial look. In contrast, a Sperry sailcloth tent is crafted from translucent sailcloth, allowing natural light to filter through by day and creating a warm glow at night. Featuring elegant wooden poles, sweeping peaks, and a refined design, Sperry tents provide a sophisticated, airy ambiance that seamlessly blends with natural surroundings.

Do you offer tables and chairs in your inventory?

We specialize exclusively in the care, maintenance, and integrity of our tents and structures, which is why we do not offer tables, chairs, or other rental inventory.
