This lovely late summer wedding couple chose to have their wedding ceremony right across the street from the Ocean House venue at the quaint and intimate Watch Hill Chapel. Having all of their events within walking distance created a sense of ease and charm to saying “I Do” in front of all their loved ones.
The cocktail hour was set on one of the back patios of Ocean House capitalizing on the unparalleled beach views. The beautifully warm weather paired perfectly with their fall cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The warm gentle ocean breeze set the stage for endless chatter making the start of this wedding reception one to remember.
The reception took place under one of our lovely Sperry Sailcloth Tents situated on the Ocean House lawn. The best and definitely brightest feature of the space were the 21 Moroccan pendant lights from Ryan Designs dazzling over the dance floor and main table. It created the perfect amount of light and an unforgettable glow.
The bride wanted a tiny nod to fall in her color palette, but with a more soft, muted touch. The amazing Hana Floral Team used peaches and soft orange tones as color accents to a primarily green, blush and white/ivory scheme.
The reception aesthetic was kept clean with white linens, white candles and hints of gold on the centerpieces and table numbers. To compliment the glistening star pendants, some of the reception tables had trumpet vases filled with Russian olive greens and tall white delphinium. Dahlias were a big focal flower as were garden roses, ranunculus and antique hydrangeas. If only we could keep our wedding flowers forever!
